Whilst lessons are currently only available online, measures are being taken to prepare the studio for when it is safe to return.  In line with the government advice I have set out some new policies to make my studio a safe environment for learning. Any questions please let me know. The aim is to make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable.  Online Skype/Zoom lessons will continue and will stay part of my teaching services.

Let me know any questions you may have and thanks for your support

Studio Updates

  • Hand sanitiser gel will be provided on entrance to the studio.

  • Chairs will be set out 2 metres apart to keep social distancing requirements.

  • A screen will be placed next to the student to add additional protection.

  • The studio will be well ventilated with open windows.

  • Surfaces the student may encounter will be cleaned before and after each lesson. These include door handles, music stands, chairs, cables etc.

During The Lesson
  • The room will be set out so there is at least a 2 metre gap between teacher/student.

  • There will be a separate music stand set up for the student along with a protection screen.

  • No instruments will be available to borrow for lessons at this time.

  • Students will be asked to tune their own guitars. Help will be given with this if needed.

  • Parents to wait in the car park during the lesson to limit the number of people in and out of the building.

  • Will leave it up to the individual if they would like to wear a face mask/ cover during their lesson. If you would like me to wear one, please let me know.

Before & After The Lesson

  • For the time being I would ask that there is no waiting in the building before your lesson.  Please wait in your car until your lesson time. There will be at least a 10-minute change over time between students. This will allow the previous student to leave before you arrive.

  • In between lessons, surfaces you encounter will be cleaned. Door handles, chairs, music stands etc…

  • At the entrance of my office I will have hand sanitiser available and would ask everyone to wash their hands before entering the studio and the lesson starts.

  • Preferred payment method will remain by bank transfer. If there is a problem with this though please let me know and other arrangements can be made.

  • Anyone showing Covid-19 symptoms should not attend their lesson in person. Were possible these lessons can be moved online via Skype or Zoom. In these cases, the 24hr cancellation charge will not be applied.
