FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you teach beginners?

Yes whether you're starting out or have been playing for a number of years, these lessons can help get you on the right track.

Do you teach children?

Yes, I would normally recommend 7 years old as a good starting point, before this the child may find it difficult reaching some notes and may not have the required finger strength. Ukulele is a good option to start with for younger children.

Are you CRB checked?

Yes I am fully CRB checked. Working with different schools also means that I am up to date with the child Safegaurding practise.

What do I need to bring for the lessons?

All you need is a guitar, these can be borrowed for lessons but in order to practise you will require your own.

What should I expect on the first lesson?

Lessons are based in the music studio. The aim is to create a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Lessons are set to your pace and based around what you want to get out of the guitar.

Can I sit guitar exams?

Yes, exams are an option with all styles of guitar playing. As Craig is an examiner he has expert knowledge in this field.

Do you offer gift vouchers?

Yes, gift vouchers are available. Guitar lessons make a great unique gift to give to your loved ones. Click here Gift Vouchers.

How often should I practice?

The saying goes practice makes perfect, the more time you can spend practising the faster you will see progress. In reality however, it can be difficult juggling practice with other life commitments. The best way to get the most out of your practice is the little and often approach. Rather than spending 3 hours on a Sunday practicing, try to fit in a little bit each day.
